I'm so excited to find this gem! This store has a huge variety of groceries, kitchen, and household supplies. The two woman who were running it were kind and cheerful, offering to help if needed. One woman gave me suggestions on how to cook with a couple of products I was considering trying. I'm so glad that she did because my dinner came out delightful. The frozen chopped lemongrass will become a new staple in our home. The store doesn't seem huge but when you start walking the aisles, you'll see their careful curation of goods and how it's packed with nearly anything you could ask for or think of. The prices were fine and didn't seem overly priced as I saw mentioned in a couple of the other reviews. We're so lucky to have Hue Phuong Oriental Food Market in our community.
Decided to check it out and I was pleasantly surprised! The store is very clean and neat. They had everything I was looking for, even this sausage that I saw on a YouTube video of this fried rice dish I was wanting to make. I usually go to the oriental market in Savannah but the last couple of times their shelves were kind of bare and the prices went up. I will definitely be making the drive out to Pooler just to buy stuff at this store going forward because it has everything and was nicely priced. I even got some fresh snow peas like I can't even find that at Whole Foods or Publix these days. I definitely recommend anyone looking to buy ingredients for Asian dishes at this establishment. The owners seem very nice too!
The price actually aren't that bad! Me and my partner went here just see what was up, and we got two drinks, a 5-pack of ramen, 2 pairs of chopsticks, and tea for less than $25. There's a lot to see in such a small store I think it's a fun little trip! I will definitely be going again.
Awesome new edition to the City of Pooler Georgia new family-owned grocery store many varieties of food and spices and drink plus so many snack chips and cookies variety etc. very friendly staff and knowledgeable and willing to help and serve you please stop by and get them a try I'm sure you won't be disappointed
